Editing the Settings

Settings option allows you to customize the Delph INS Subsea.

1. Select Settings. The following window is displayed.

2. Set the desired parameters to customize the application, see the table next page to get more information about each parameter. [F2] switches the selected item to edition mode.
3. Click on OK button to save the settings.
4. To restore the default settings, click on Default button.

 

Here are below all the setting parameters which can be modified:

> General
Start mode: Open last: the last edited *.poprjx file is loaded at the application start up. New empty project: a blank main window is opened, no project is opened. New project wizard: at the opening, a dialog box opens and guides you for the creation of a project. Default value: New project wizard
Theme: Select Classic, Light or Dark style. Default value: Light style.
Running mode: Standard or Expert. Expert mode gives access to the following features:
- Access to DVL sensor bias in Processing view
- Adcess to EMLog sensor bias in Processing view
- Configure an output rate source file
Default output rate (s). Enter the default output rate value in seconds. Default value: 1.000000 s
Bad parameter color: Select the color of the bad parameter.
Default algorithm. Select Basic or Optimized. Default value: Optimized
Specific project
- OOS (Out Of Straightness): post-processing optimization for Out of Straigthness applications to minimize potential oscillations between Forward and backward solutions: Choose Yes or No. Default value: No.
New version checking
- Check: to check for a new version, Yes or No. Default value: Yes
- Frequency (days): number of day to check for a new version. Default value: 7

 

> GNSS processing
Default elevation mask (°): Default value: 10.000000 degrees. All the satellites under this value are not taken into account. This value is stored for each new project.
Default GNSS command file name: Browse to select the GNSS command file name
Default sbfAnalyser path name: Browse to select the path name of the sbfAnalyser tool to be used

 

> Processing view
Lever arm and misalignment conventions: select Exail (XV1, XV2, XV3) or Subsea (X, Y, Z)

 

> Time view
Automatic refresh: Automatically refreshes the graph when the data processing is running. Choice: Yes or No. Default value: Yes.
Chronogram:
- Color: select the color of the line to be displayed
- Width: enter the width of the line. Default value: 1.0
- Undefined data color: select the color to display the undefined data on the chronogram
Linemarks
- Color: select the color of the horizontal and vertical linemarks to be displayed
- Width: enter the width of the horizontal and vertical linemarks. Default value: 3.0

 

> Plan view
Background color: Select the color of the Plan view background
Time cursor color: Select the color of the time cursor
Time cursor size: Select the size of the time cursor
Time cursor width: Select the width of the time cursor
Open Street Map offline mode: Select Yes or No to display the Open Street Map
Open Street Map URL: Enter the server address of the Open Street Map.
The default URL is https://tile.openstreetmap.org/{z}/{x}/{y}.png and can be replaced by e.g. https://a.tile.opentopomap.org/{z}/{x}/{y}.png
Only PNG file are supported.
The {z}, {x} and {y} keyword in the URL are placeholders for the zoom level and coordinates of the tile on the map server.


> Value display
Decimal separator: Select the character to be used as a decimal separator. Default value: .
Processing time: Select the processing time. Default value: Elapsed time. Elapsed time, e.g. since the start of recording. Absolute time (UTC). Absolute time (GPS)
Absolute time:
- Notation: Select the notation: dd/mm/yyyy ; mm/dd/yyyy ; yyyy/mm/dd ; Unix ; PD6 Rdi ; Day seconds , Week seconds. Default value: dd/mm/yyyy
- Precision: Enter the Precision. Default value: 3
Elapsed time
- Notation: Select the notation: dd hh:mim:ss.sss ; elapsed time. Default value: dd hh:mim:ss.sss
- Unit: Select the unit: hour (h) ; minute (min) ; millisecond (ms) ; second (s). Default value: second (s)
- Precision: Enter the Precision. Default value: 3
Coordinates: Select Geographic or Projected. Default value: Geographic
Geographic position
- Notation: Decimal degrees ; Degrees, minutes ; Degrees, minutes, seconds ; NMEA. Default value: degrees, minutes
- Quadrant: Signed (+/-) ; Geographic (N/S, E/W). Default value: Geographic (N/S, E/W)
- Precision. Default value: 5.
Projected position
- Unit: centimeter (cm) : foot (ft) ; inch (in) kilometer (km) ; meter (m) ; mile (mi) ; nautic mile (nm) ; US survey foot (us-ft) ; yard (yd). Default value: meter (m)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Altitude
- Unit: centimeter (cm) : kilometer (km) ; meter (m). Default value: meter (m)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Angle
- Unit: degree (°) ; radian (rad). Default value: degree (°)
- Precision. Default value: 2
Angular speed
- Unit: radian per second (rad/s) ; degree per hour (°/h) ; degree per second (°/s). Default value: radian per second (rad/s)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Attitude
- Unit: degree (°) ; radian (rad). Default value: degree (°)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Attitude standard deviation
- Unit: degree (°) ; radian (rad). Default value: degree (°)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Conductivity
- Unit: millisiemens per centimeter (mS/cm) ; Siemens per meter (S/m). Default value: millisiemens per centimeter (mS/cm)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Cross variance
- Unit: square meter (m2)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Density
- Unit: gram per cubic centimeter (g/cm3) : kilogram per liter (kg/l) ; kilogram per cubic meter (kg/m3) ; milli siemens per centimeter (mS/cm) ; metric ton per cubic meter (t/m3). Default value: milli siemens per centimeter (mS/cm)
- Precision. Default value: 3
Distance

Speed bias

Time offset
