Input Files
The XPF input format is the native format for inertial processing with Delph INS Subsea. After conversion, other formats are accepted: post-processing, text, etc.
Raw data files recorded by the INS must be converted to XPF format data files before being inserted into Delph INS Subsea or before creating Delph INS Subsea projects.
If the message “This data segment does not contain any configuration data, you will have to manually provide an external configuration file” appears during the conversion, it means that the current firmware is not up to date and that in order to create a project, the user must provide a configuration file directly recorded by the INS.
During raw data conversion to XPF format, configuration information is recovered (if available). An HTML file is created allowing an easy access to configuration information.
Converted data is displayed in the main window.
The *.log file is converted into three different files:
| > | *-ins.xpf (for the INS files) |
| > | *-ins.conf.xml (for the INS configuration file) and *-ins.conf.html |
| > | *.log.xml (this file is not used in Delph INS Subsea) |
Additional Aiding Sensor Files
External sensors data files can be loaded in Delph INS Subsea. This data may have been already postprocessed or the sensors were not available during operation. Text files or NMEA files must be converted to XPF format .
